This piece borrows from theatre stagecraft in that it is made to "fool" the observer into believing it is actually a solid cabinet. However, it is simply a lightweight wood frame covered with 1/4" plywood with a tapestry fabric stretched over it, along with a bit of stained trim. It can easily be moved away from the gun safe it conceals in the corner, as the "disguise cabinet" weighs just 8 pounds. It could also be used to conceal pipes, access panels, or any other things that need to be hidden, yet be accessible. It can be made to compliment any décor.
