This unit breaks down into four smaller cabinets for ease of moving; special connector bolts help align and pull the upper cabinets together. Maple lumber (some of which is highly figured) and birch plywood are the materials. Although sparse of extras, some details include hand-carved bevel ends on the corners and the upper seams, mortised-in door hinges, and custom-finished door knobs. All shelves are adjustable.
