A balalaika is a three-stringed instrument from Russia, and is similar to a mandolin. This one was a "partial kit" that simply needed some finishing and a few adjustments, including a new bridge and lots of filing on the frets. I also added 5 mother-of-pearl dots to the scratch plate and made a case for it. See "Balalaika Case" project.
