This piece was made from German beech and features 300 years' worth of "distressing". The two base cabinets are supported by period-correct bun feet and house a dovetailed poplar file drawer and storage shelf in each. The two upper cabinets on either side have adjustable shelves. The main features are found in the center desk section: two pocket doors open to reveal dry erase panels on the back of each door, a lighted computer work area with a power strip and cork bulletin boards left and right, a pull-out printer shelf, and adjustable shelf over the printer, a small storage shelf, four letter slots, and two supply drawers. There are over a dozen edge profiles on this piece, several of which have hand-carved ends and corners. |
