Although only 2 feet long and 22" tall, there is quite a lot of storage space in this small piece. The shelf can accommodate books up to 12" tall, while the concealed drawer and top well offer plenty of extra room (both are at least 3 1/2" deep). The bookcase is made of walnut plywood and walnut lumber; the corners are reeded with hand-carved ends. The gold lettering under the lid was also hand-carved.
