This wallbed is made from quarter-sawn white oak lumber and white oak plywood (cabinet quality), and was designed after a Mission armoire. Unlike the other wallbeds from The Colonial Cabinet Shop, it has separate supports in the form of two pylons that can be used as stylish bookends when the bed is closed. It also features several arches, including the base trim. Details include walnut backing plates for the "door" pulls, and faux through-tenons to further match the bed to the client's other Mission furniture.
