This wall of bookcases is made of maple and birch, and is 17 feet by 8 1/2 feet. Some of its features include a curio cabinet on one end and a triangular cabinet on the other, rope lighting behind the crown trim, raised panel and glass panel doors, custom stain and finish, and a rolling ladder with a brass track. The ladder is made of 1" thick maple and has carved tops, custom-made brass hooks (the lower set of hooks allow the ladder to be stored upright against the bookcases), and shop-made wheel housings designed around brass casters.
