Made of poplar plywood and poplar lumber, this very basic wallbed features a display shelf that becomes the bed support when the unit is opened. It was installed "unfinished" for the client to paint at a later date. The full/double size bed is 84" tall, and fits under the room's low ceiling. For ceilings lower than 89", the horizontal mount option must be used (the bed is mounted on it's side, and opens with one side against the wall, like a berth in a cruise ship). The front is a blank slate, and can be made to match any décor using trims, panels, etc.
