Made as a matching piece for the Lake House Wallbed, this maple and bead board desk features four file drawers and a pencil drawer. The frame and panel sides are clad onto 3/4" plywood for an extra sturdy (and heavy) desk. Traditional joinery includes sliding dovetails on the pencil drawer, tongue and grooved file drawer fronts and desk top edging, and dados and rabbets on the plywood cabinet bodies. The finish is clear.
