Made of German Beech lumber and matching beech plywood, this queen sized wallbed features side cabinets the same height as the bed cabinet, the client's old headboard (reworked to fit the wallbed), and a fold down desk. The side cabinets have pull-out nightstand trays for eyeglasses, books, jewelry, etc. Just below one of these is a dovetailed file drawer (the wallbed is part of a home office, which is on the adjacent wall). As part of the lighting package, rope lights are installed behind the crown trim.
