Most of the cabinets and stands in my shop are "spin-offs" from actual projects for clients; sometimes using left-over wood, stain, and hardware, other times using just design elements, and sometimes a combination of these will go into the creation of yet another shop cabinet. This cabinet was patterned loosely on the Mission Wallbed for storage of a large miter saw, and is made mostly of factory-finished birch plywood (which also was used to panel the walls of the shop).
